SHAKOPEE, MN – U.S. Representative Angie Craig secured $400,000 in federal funding to help CertainTeed in Shakopee, Minnesota expand their use of solar energy in their manufacturing process.  

Rep. Craig helped secure this funding through her support of appropriations legislation last year.

WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Representative Angie Craig joined her colleagues Representatives Greg Pence (R-IN), Jim Baird (R-IN) and Kim Schrier (D-WA) to introduce a bipartisan bill to streamline the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) approval process for animal feed.  

Right now, the average FDA approval time for a feed additive is 10-15 years. Rep. Craig’s bipartisan Innovative FEED Act would create a new category of animal feeds and clarify the FDA approval process for feed additives – helping to speed up the approval process.
