Affordable housing is a cornerstone of strong economies and communities in the Second District. If you don’t have a roof over your head, you can’t focus on finding a job or contributing to your community. That’s why I believe it’s critical that we work to expand access to affordable housing and make sure everyone has a safe place to live. As a member of the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, I am working hard to pass an infrastructure package that prioritizes affordable housing in our communities.

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, U.S. Representative Craig (D-MN) helped pass annual funding legislation that includes several key priorities designed to support constituents in Minnesota’s Second Congressional District. The package, which includes seven appropriations bills for federal agencies across government, will direct funds toward a number of Craig’s requested priorities for working Minnesotans, including infrastructure spending, mental health care programs and economic recovery efforts.
