WASHINGTON – Yesterday, U.S. Representative Angie Craig helped lead the introduction of the Transition for Success Act, bipartisan legislation that would provide in-demand skills training and employment assistance to members of National Guard and Reserve who are within 180 days of transitioning into civilian life. A survey conducted by the Pew Research Center last year found that only one in four veterans said they had a civilian job lined up after they left the military.
WASHINGTON, DC – Yesterday, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced the availability of technical and financial assistance for Minnesota farmers and livestock producers impacted by current drought conditions. Those impacted can work with their local USDA Service Center to report losses and learn more about program options available to assist in their recovery from crop, land, infrastructure and livestock losses and damages.
WASHINGTON, DC – This month, U.S. Representative Angie Craig pressed the Biden Administration to take executive action to fix the "family glitch" in the Affordable Care Act's subsidized marketplace coverage – a step that could save 62,000 Minnesotans thousands of dollars annually on their health insurance premiums. In a letter addressed to Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, Craig highlighted the story of Savage, Minnesota, native Allie Krueger – who was laid off during the COVID-19 public health crisis shortly before learning that she was pregnant with twins.
WASHINGTON, DC – Last week, U.S. Representative Angie Craig pressed the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) for additional information on the Biden Administration's efforts to ensure that Additional Child Tax Credit payments are reaching all Minnesotans, particularly the most vulnerable and chronically underserved.

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, U.S. Representatives Angie Craig (D-MN) and Adrian Smith (R-NE) led Co-Chairs of the Congressional Biofuels Caucus in introducing the Year-Round Fuel Choice Act, bipartisan legislation that would ensure that the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) can grant waivers to allow E15 and higher blend fuels to be sold at retailers year-round.
WASHINGTON, DC – Today, U.S. Representative Angie Craig applauded President Biden's Executive Order on promoting competition in the American economy, singling out provisions to save Americans money on their internet bills by fostering competition and increasing transparency in billing.
WASHINGTON, DC — Today, U.S. Representative Angie Craig cosponsored the Marijuana Opportunity Reinvestment and Expungement (MORE) Act, one of the most comprehensive marijuana reform bills ever introduced in the U.S. Congress. Following efforts led by states across the nation, the MORE Act decriminalizes marijuana at the federal level. The bill also aims to correct the historical injustices of failed drug policies that have disproportionately impacted communities of color and low-income communities by requiring resentencing and expungement of prior convictions.
WASHINGTON, DC – Today, U.S. Representatives Angie Craig (D-MN) and Randy Feenstra (R-IA-04) introduced the Small Refinery Exemption Clarification Act of 2021. The bipartisan legislation would clarify that only oil refineries that have been continuously receiving small refinery exemptions (SREs) since 2011 would be eligible to petition for extensions of renewable fuel blending requirement exemptions.
