The 80th Street corridor is an important retail, commercial and transportation hub for the growing city of Cottage Grove and currently sees about 24,000 vehicles per day.

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, U.S. Representative Angie Craig (MN-02) announced that she plans to introduce legislation next week to withhold pay for Members of Congress if the House fails to elect a Speaker in a timely manner. 

Rep. Craig’s No Pay for Disarray Act would reduce the annual rate of pay for a Member of Congress at a daily rate for each day a Speaker is not elected.

WASHINGTON, DC – As part of her efforts to support Minnesota law enforcement, U.S. Representative Angie Craig secured $325,000 for the Dakota County Sheriff’s Office Electronic Crimes Unit.

With these federal funds, the Sheriff’s Office will have an increased capacity to prevent and prosecute electronic crimes and promote online safety across Dakota County.

WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Representative Angie Craig secured $84,000 in federal funding for the Scott County Sheriff’s Department to purchase critical disaster relief and rescue equipment. The new equipment will help ensure the department can swiftly and effectively respond to public safety challenges across Scott County.

WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Representative Angie Craig secured $4,995,000 to construct a Veterans Memorial Greenway in Dakota County. The greenway will commemorate the service of all Minnesota veterans. The greenway will also serve as a public space for community events in Dakota County.
