WASHINGTON, DC – Today, U.S. Representatives Angie Craig (D-MN), Roger Williams (R-TX), Chrissy Houlahan (D-PA), and Dean Phillips (D-MN) led more than 200 of their House colleagues in a bipartisan letter to Administrator Isabel Guzman of the Small Business Administration urging immediate action to stabilize and improve the Shuttered Venue Operators Grant (SVOG) program, which provides emergency assistance grants to venues that were unable to operate during the COVID-19 pandemic.

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, U.S. Representative Angie Craig cosponsored H.R.3807, the Restaurant Revitalization Fund Replenishment Act, which would provide $60 billion to replenish the Restaurant Revitalization Fund (RRF) – a program designed to support local bars, restaurants and eateries that were impacted by COVID-19.

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, the Local Water Protection Act, authored by U.S. Representatives Angie Craig (D-MN) and Brian Mast (R-FL), passed the House of Representatives with overwhelming bipartisan support. The legislation aims to reduce water pollution in local communities by reauthorizing an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) grant program that provides funds for states to develop and implement programs for managing nonpoint source water pollution, or pollution from diffuse sources including runoff from farms, managed forests and urban areas.

WASHINGTON, DC — Today, in a House Energy and Commerce Committee hearing, U.S. Representative Angie Craig questioned public health experts on the Biden Administration's ongoing efforts to equitably distribute and administer the COVID-19 vaccine. At the hearing, Craig applauded the historic achievement of delivering more than 309 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine – made possible by the $7.5 billion provided to the Centers for Disease Control for vaccine distribution and administration.

WASHINGTON, DC — Today, U.S. Representative Angie Craig announced that seven of her Member Designated Projects submitted on behalf of communities in Minnesota's Second Congressional District were included in the INVEST in America Act, a transformative five-year, $547 billion surface transportation reauthorization bill. If ultimately signed into law, the projects combined would bring $15,815,000 in direct federal funding to communities across the District.
