WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Representatives Angie Craig (D-MN) and Troy Balderson (R-OH) introduced the PPP Second Draw Fairness Act to establish a more flexible set of eligibility parameters around the second draw of Paycheck Protection Program funds. This bipartisan legislation would ensure that the hardest hit small businesses are able to access a second round of PPP payments by measuring a reduction in revenue over any consecutive 90-day period in 2020, rather than examinations structured strictly on quarterly profits.

WASHINGTON, DC — Today, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a bipartisan bill co-sponsored by U.S. Representative Angie Craig which would require employers in the health care and social services industries to develop and implement workplace violence prevention plans to protect nurses, physicians, social workers, emergency responders and others. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, workers in those industries are nearly five times as likely to suffer a serious workplace violence injury than other American workers.

WASHINGTON, DC — Today, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a bipartisan bill introduced by U.S. Representatives Angie Craig (D-MN), Steve Chabot (R-OH), Sharice Davids (D-KS) and Young Kim (R-CA) to improve the Small Business Administration's (SBA) 504 Loan Program. Among other provisions, the 504 Modernization and Small Manufacturer Enhancement Act would increase maximum loan amounts, streamline the loan process and provide additional support to manufacturers who apply for the loan from local SBA offices.
