WASHINGTON, DC – Today, U.S. Representatives Angie Craig (D-MN), Mark Alford (R-MO), Kristen McDonald Rivet (D-MI) and Mark Messmer (R-IN) reintroduced the Biomanufacturing and Jobs Act to strengthen the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) BioPreferred Program.

This bipartisan legislation will increase market access for bio-based products and help ensure that the United States remains the world’s leader in biomanufacturing.

The First-Time Homebuyer Tax Credit Act would establish a refundable tax credit worth up to 10% of a home’s purchase price, up to a maximum of $15,000, for low-and middle-income, first-time homebuyers.
