American Poultry Farmers Regain Access to Chinese Poultry Market After Being Banned Since 2015
Today, U.S. Rep. Angie Craig commended the Chinese government’s decision to lift its ban on U.S. poultry and poultry products and reopen export markets for Minnesota farmers. The ban has been in place since 2015 in response to an avian influenza outbreak. Now, a market that generated approximately $15 million a year in sales for Minnesota will reopen.
