Tours and Tickets

All tickets are free and are provided to constituents on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to the large number of visitors, please place your request as early as possible. For information on sightseeing and attractions, please visit the Washington, DC Tourism Information page, as well as a Visitor's Guide from our office.


Submit a Tour Request

Tours of the U.S. Capitol, White House, and Federal Bureau of Investigation can be booked through our office by submitting the Tour Request Form. Information on these tours and tours of other popular sites that are open to the public can be found below.

Tour Information:

U.S. Capitol

Staff-led tours of the U.S. Capitol are offered from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The tour includes visiting the Crypt, the Rotunda, and National Statuary Hall. The tour does not include visiting the Senate and House Galleries, which require separate passes.


White House

Self-guided White House tours are available from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays (excluding federal holidays or unless otherwise noted). Tour hours are extended when possible based on the official White House schedule. Tours are scheduled on a first come, first served basis. You are encouraged to submit your request as early as possible as a limited number of spaces are available. Once your request is booked by our office, the White House will send you a link where you can RSVP. RSVP's must be done within seven days of receiving the link. Once this is complete, the White House will notify you if your tour has been granted or denied.


Bureau of Engraving and Printing

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing offers free tickets for public tours on a first-come, first-served basis Monday through Friday. The ticket booth is located on Raoul Wallenberg Place (formerly 15th Street SW). The booth opens at 8:00 a.m. and closes when all tickets have been distributed. Lines form early and tickets go quickly; most days tickets are gone by 8:30am. Please plan accordingly. The BOE is located at 14th and C Streets, SW. For more information, please visit this link.


Library of Congress

Public tours of the Library of Congress Thomas Jefferson Building are available on a first-come, first-served basis Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. A limited number of same-day passes are made available each open day at 9:00 a.m. EST. An individual can reserve up to (10) timed-entry passes for their visit. All tours are fully accessible. For more information, please visit this link.
