U.S. Rep. Angie Craig Ranked in Top 2% Most Bipartisan U.S. House Members
The nonpartisan Common Ground Committee ranks elected officials on their record of working across the aisle
WASHINGTON, DC – Today, U.S. Representative Angie Craig announced that the Common Ground Committee has ranked her in the top 2% most bipartisan Members of the U.S. House of Representatives in this Congress.
The Common Ground Committee scores and ranks Members of Congress based on their willingness to work with members of both parties to deliver for their constituents. While the average score for a Member of the House is 27, Rep. Craig’s score is 93.
“Minnesotans deserve leaders who will put them – not a party or politics – first. That’s exactly what I’ve aimed to do since being elected, and I’m proud that work has ranked me in the top 2% most bipartisan Members of Congress. I’ll keep reaching across the aisle to deliver the common sense, bipartisan solutions Minnesotans deserve,” said Rep. Craig.
Rep. Craig has cosponsored nearly 300 pieces of legislation in the 118th Congress – 77% of which have been bipartisan.
Earlier this year, Rep. Craig was ranked as Minnesota's most effective Member of the U.S. House by the Center for Effective Lawmaking.
