U.S. Rep. Angie Craig Pushing for Investments in South Metro

Washington, D.C. – Today, U.S. Representative Angie Craig announced a push for federal investments for 15 community projects across the Second District.

Each year, Members of Congress can submit up to 15 local projects for consideration in annual government funding legislation.

Rep. Craig’s FY25 submissions focus largely on public safety, infrastructure and public health.

“I’m proud to help advance these 15 initiatives that will make life better for Minnesotans across the Second District. These projects play a critical role in improving the community, and I will continue to push to bring federal funding back to Minnesota,” said Rep Craig.

The 15 Community Projects are listed below:

  • Dakota County River to River Greenway Project 
  • Prior Lake TH 13 Trail –150th Street to Candy Cove Project 
  • Woodbury Emergency Operations Center Equipment Project 
  • South St. Paul First Responder Safety Initiative 
  • New Prague Police Station Project 
  • Le Sueur Community & Recreation Center Redevelopment Project 
  • Rambling River Park Veteran’s Pavilion Project 
  • Hastings PFAS and Nitrates Treatment Phase #1 Project 
  • Washington County 19A/100th Street Realignment Project 
  • Dakota County I-35 Bridges and CH 50 Interchange Project 
  • Burnsville Public Safety Mobile Command Post Replacement Project 
  • Scott County Law Enforcement Records Management System Project 
  • Lakeville FiRST Center Project 
  • Scott County SCALE Regional Public Safety Training Facility Range Trap Replacement Project 
  • South Metro Fire Department Community Opioid Response and Education (CORE) Team
