U.S. Rep. Angie Craig Proposes a Tax Cut for Small Businesses and Small Business Owners
WASHINGTON, DC – Today, U.S. Representative Angie Craig introduced legislation to cut taxes for small businesses and small business owners.
Rep. Craig’s Small Business Tax Relief Act will cut the corporate tax rate for small businesses to 18%, increase the self-employment tax deduction for small business owners and help reduce the national deficit.
“Opening and growing a small business takes tremendous sacrifice and dedication – and we’ve got to do everything we can to support small business owners. That’s why I’m reintroducing my legislation to lower costs for small business owners across the country – and I look forward to working with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to pass this critical legislation,” said Rep. Craig.
Rep. Craig introduced similar legislationduring the 117th Congress.
