U.S. Rep. Angie Craig Announces 2024 Congressional Art Competition Winner
WASHINGTON, DC – Today, U.S. Representative Angie Craig announced Alice Yi, a rising junior at Lakeville South High School, as the winner of the Second Congressional District’s 2024 Congressional Art Competition.
Yi’s pencil drawing, “No Resolution,” was selected by Rep. Craig’s office to represent the Second District and will hang in the Capitol Building alongside winning art pieces from high schoolers in every congressional district in the country.
“Every year, it’s incredible to see the talent that exists in the young people across our district, and I know they will all go on to accomplish great things,” said Rep. Craig. “Congratulations to Alice on this achievement – I'm looking forward to having a reminder of home hanging in the Capitol.”
