Rep. Angie Craig’s Statement on Labor Day

Today, U.S. Rep. Angie Craig issued the following statement in recognition of Labor Day.

"Today, we honor the strength of the American labor movement and all of the workers who have fought for the essential rights and labor standards we have today: the 40 hour work week, fair wages, the right to organize, and the right to safe working conditions. Labor has built our country's strong middle class and continues to drive our economy. I will never stop fighting to protect the basic right to organize for fair, safe workplaces." said Rep. Craig.
