Rep. Angie Craig Visits Ineffable Brewing on Small Business Saturday

November 28, 2020

Today, U.S. Rep. Angie visited Ineffable Brewing, a new small business in Burnsville, MN, to celebrate Small Business Saturday. As a member of the House Committee on Small Business, Rep. Craig has consistently advocated for additional COVID-19 relief for small businesses and targeted assistance for restaurants and venues.

"It was great to speak with Richard and Barbara today to hear about their experience opening a new business given the challenges of this pandemic," said Rep. Craig. "I'm committed to listening to small business owners in our community and bringing their voices to Washington as I push for additional COVID relief. With cases surging across the country and within our community, the risk of devastation to our small businesses is significantly increasing. We must act with urgency to support those most impacted by the pandemic."

Last week, Rep. Craig spoke on the House floor urging members of both parties to work together on additional aid that includes the RESTAURANTS Act and the Save Our Stages Act, two bills Rep. Craig has cosponsored to bring additional support to struggling small businesses.

Additionally, earlier this week, Rep. Craig joined the House Committee on Small Business on a resolution honoring entrepreneurs and encouraging Americans to support small businesses on Small Business Saturday. You can read the full text of the resolution here.
