May 8, 2020

Rep. Craig Donated Blood Today in Eagan, MN

Today, Rep. Angie Craig and her wife Cheryl donated blood at the Dakota County Community Development Agency to do her part and help bring awareness to the severe shortage in the national blood supply. The American Red Cross has taken measures to ensure that donating blood remains a safe process for healthy individuals. Healthy individuals are encouraged to make a blood donation appointment through the American Red Cross.

"Folks in our communities and across the country still rely on donations of lifesaving blood, and giving blood is one of the many ways we can continue to help our neighbors," said Rep. Craig. "Our national blood supply is facing shortages, and those of us who are healthy need to step up and donate. Facilities are taking extra precautions to ensure the health of everyone involved, and I encourage healthy individuals to please donate blood."
