Rep. Angie Craig Urges Biden Administration to Approve Minnesota’s Disaster Declaration Request, Covering All Five MN-02 Counties

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, U.S. Representative Angie Craig urged the Biden Administration to approve Minnesota’s request for a Major Disaster Declaration, covering all five counties in Minnesota’s Second District: Dakota, Le Sueur, Rice, Scott and Washington counties.

Joining all Republicans and Democrats in the Minnesota delegation, Rep. Craig urged the Administration to ensure immediate federal support for the communities impacted by historic flooding.

“I will do everything I can to help the communities impacted by this flooding – both as a neighbor and a federal representative – and help ensure we can mitigate the impact of the flooding on our family farmers and regional economy,” said Rep. Craig. “I urge the Administration to approve this request as soon as possible so we can get relief to the folks on the ground who need it.”
