Rep. Angie Craig Statement on President Biden’s State of the Union Address
WASHINGTON, DC – Following President Biden’s State of the Union Address, U.S. Representative Angie Craig issued the following statement:
“We’ve made incredible progress for the American people over the last two years, and so much of it with bipartisan support – we capped insulin costs for seniors, finally committed to fixing our roads and bridges and made bold investments in domestic manufacturing and energy sources. It’s clear we have much more work to do, and I am committed to working with members of both parties and the Administration to get results for my constituents.”
Last week, Rep. Craig was selected by House Leadership as one of 12 House Democrats to serve on the Regional Leadership Council, a new arm of House leadership that will represent the House of Representatives to the White House to ensure effective implementation of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, the Inflation Reduction Act, the CHIPS and Science Act, and the bipartisan Safer Communities Act. Rep. Craig will serve as the regional leader for Minnesota, Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota.
