Rep. Angie Craig Helps Pass Bipartisan Funding Package, Advancing $16 Million in Federal Investments for Second District
WASHINGTON, DC – Today, U.S. Representative Angie Craig helped pass bipartisan FY24 appropriations legislation – advancing more than $16 million in federal funding for community projects across the South Metro.
The long-overdue bipartisan legislative package also provides funding to expand veterans’ health care, boost rural development programs, support local law enforcement and lower costs for American families.
“After months of frustrating partisan antics, the House finally passed bipartisan legislation needed to keep the government running and help build stronger and safer communities. This is a major win for the Second District and more proof that the only path forward this Congress is a bipartisan one. I’ll keep working to get the remaining appropriations bills across the finish line,” said Rep. Craig.
