Rep. Angie Craig Delivers Feedback from Eagan and Prior Lake Residents Directly to USPS Management
ICYMI: Rep. Craig launched a survey this month to hear directly from Eagan and Prior Lake residents about their postal service – and received over 600 responses
Delivery follows Craig’s visits to Eagan and Prior Lake Post Offices last Friday
BURNSVILLE, MN – Today, U.S. Representative Angie Craig delivered feedback from hundreds of Minnesotans to Interim USPS District Manager Angela Bye. Rep. Craig gathered the stories from a postal survey she launched earlier this month.
Last week, Rep. Craig raised concerns from Eagan and Prior Lake residents during visits to both local post offices.
During her visit, USPS officials assured Rep. Craig that increasing service levels is a priority and that service levels in Prior Lake are stable and that Eagan is improving. Additionally, officials continue to insist that Minnesotans should receive their mail every day.
“Each one of these stories reveal the reality of postal service in the Second District: delayed mail, missing medications and challenging working conditions for mail carriers and postal workers. I’m sending each of these stories directly to USPS management – so they know exactly what is happening on the ground in the South Metro,” said Rep. Craig.
Rep. Craig encourages her constituents to contact her office if they are having trouble navigating or accessing any federal agency, including their local post offices. For assistance, they should visit Rep. Craig’s website at https://craig.house.gov/casework.
