Rep. Angie Craig Announces Farm to School Grant Applications

Today, U.S. Rep. Angie Craig announced the opening of applications for the 2020 Farm to School Grant Program available for Minnesota's Second Congressional District.

"Our kids deserve healthy and nutritious foods, no matter where they live," said Rep. Angie Craig. "By bringing together Minnesota farmers, school districts, and community partners, Farm to School creates meaningful community ties and healthier schools across Minnesota. I highly encourage schools in my district to apply for these grants to connect more students to our farming community."

This program has $10 million to make grants ranging from $20,000 to $100,000 to schools, school districts, nonprofits, state and local agencies, agricultural producers and Indian tribal organizations to develop farm to school action plans. More information on how to apply can be found here.
