Rep. Craig is cautiously optimistic this will bring stability for family farmers
Today, U.S. Rep. Angie Craig released the following statement on today's announcement of the Phase 1 China Deal.
"Minnesota family farmers need smart, deliberate trade policies that open up markets, like China, which our farmers have worked for decades to build," said Rep. Angie Craig. "I'm cautiously optimistic that today we've moved closer to positive structural changes and commitments that could increase access to the Chinese market for family farmers."
In Congress, Rep. Craig sits on the House Agriculture Committee, where she works to bring the voices of Minnesota farmers to the halls of Congress by fighting to open export markets and end the current trade war.
