Today, U.S. Rep. Angie Craig sent a letter to House Democratic leaders asking them to prioritize and include programs of significant importance to Minnesota’s Second Congressional District in end-of-year legislation being developed to fund the government and extend numerous expiring tax credits.

Since her first day in Congress, Rep. Craig has championed commonsense, bipartisan solutions for the issues hardworking Minnesotans talk with her about. Her work includes lowering the cost of healthcare and the price of prescription drugs, transportation and infrastructure funding, funding special education and career and technical skills, helping family farmers and supporting rural communities.

“Every day I look for ways to find common ground on the issues that impact the lives of hardworking Minnesotans,” said Rep. Craig. “I will never stop fighting to lower the price of prescription drugs, invest in our infrastructure - including broadband, support our family farmers, and fund special education and career and technical skills.”

Rep. Craig has authored 16 bills and cosponsored over 325 additional bills - more than two thirds of which are bipartisan. She will hold her 12th town hall in 12 months on Saturday, December 7th, in West St. Paul.
